COVID-19

Important Update

At this time, our mask policy will be based on the Maine CDC community transmission level in York County, which is updated on a regular basis. You can view the current transmission level here.

If the transmission level is High, universal masking is required for patients, family members, and visitors.

If the transmission level is Substantial, Moderate, or Low, universal masking is optional for patients, family members, and visitors.

Regardless of transmission levels, masks should still be worn in the following circumstances:

  • Have suspected or confirmed COVID-19 infection or other respiratory infection (e.g., those with runny nose, cough, sneeze); or

  • Had close contact (patients and visitors) with someone with a COVID-19 infection, for 10 days after their exposure; or

  • Reside or work on a unit or area of a facility experiencing a COVID-19 outbreak
